Kiss FM

Kiss FM is a brand name used by several radio stations across the United States, typically associated with Top 40/CHR (Contemporary Hit Radio) formats. The brand was popularized by iHeartMedia (formerly Clear Channel Communications), which owns and operates many of these stations. The most well-known Kiss FM station is KIIS-FM in Los Angeles, which became a flagship Top 40 station under legendary radio personality Rick Dees and later Ryan Seacrest. The Kiss FM branding is recognized for playing mainstream pop, hip-hop, and dance hits. While many Kiss FM stations are owned by iHeartMedia, independent stations in different markets may also use the brand under licensing agreements.
