Format 3 - XRN Australia

Format 3 - XRN Australia was a proposed national radio format under the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). It was part of a plan in the mid-1990s to create a third radio network alongside Radio National and ABC Local Radio. XRN was designed to focus on youth-oriented content, including contemporary music and cultural programming. However, the project was ultimately shelved, and its objectives were later integrated into the creation of Triple J's expanded national network.
