Peiratikos FM

Peiratikos FM (Πειρατικός FM) was a Greek pirate radio station that operated in the late 1980s and early 1990s. It was based in Piraeus, near Athens, and gained popularity for its countercultural ethos and alternative music programming. The station operated outside the bounds of Greece's regulated broadcasting system, often challenging mainstream media norms. It eventually ceased operations due to stricter enforcement of broadcasting laws in Greece. Peiratikos FM is remembered as a symbol of underground radio culture in the country.
