Platinum

Platinum 90.3 FM was a Venezuelan radio station based in Caracas that operated from 1997 to 2009. It was owned by Grupo 1BC, the same media conglomerate that owns RCTV, and featured a mix of adult contemporary music and entertainment programming. The station ceased operations on May 20, 2009, following a decision by Grupo 1BC to reorganize its media assets. Its frequency, 90.3 FM, was later occupied by another station, RCR (Radio Caracas Radio). The closure of Platinum marked the end of its 12-year presence in the Venezuelan radio market.
