Caculé Rádio Poste

Caculé Rádio Poste was a unique Brazilian community radio station based in Caculé, a small town in the state of Bahia. Operating as a "rádio poste" (literally "post radio"), it broadcasted local news, music, and community messages through loudspeakers installed on street poles rather than traditional radio frequencies. This format was a popular and low-cost way to disseminate information in small towns during the mid-20th century. Over time, advancements in technology and the rise of conventional radio and digital media led to the decline of such systems.
