Radio Liberte

Radio Liberté was a French radio station that operated during World War II as part of the Allied propaganda effort. It was launched in 1941 by the British Special Operations Executive (SOE) to broadcast messages aimed at undermining German occupation and bolstering French resistance. The station transmitted from the United Kingdom and featured content in French, often including coded messages for resistance groups. Its programming also sought to counter German propaganda and maintain morale among the French population. The station ceased operations after the liberation of France in 1944.
