WHQR Public Radio

WHQR is a public radio station based in Wilmington, North Carolina, operating on 91.3 FM as its main frequency. It is a National Public Radio (NPR) member station, offering a mix of news, talk programming, and classical music. WHQR also features a second HD channel, Classical HQR, dedicated exclusively to classical music. The station is listener-supported and serves southeastern North Carolina and northeastern South Carolina. It began broadcasting in 1984 and is operated by Friends of Public Radio, Inc.
