Romania Radio

Radio România, officially known as Societatea Română de Radiodifuziune (Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company), is Romania's national public radio broadcaster. Established on November 1, 1928, it is one of the oldest radio organizations in Europe. The station operates multiple channels, including Radio România Actualități (news and current affairs), Radio România Cultural (culture and arts), and regional stations catering to various audiences. It is funded by public money and advertising and is a key source of news, music, and cultural programming in Romania. Radio România is also a member of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
