K-Rock

K-Rock is a branding used by several rock music radio stations in Canada, most notably in Newfoundland and Labrador. The flagship station, VOCM-FM, based in St. John's, operates under the name 97.5 K-Rock and primarily features a classic rock format. The K-Rock brand is also associated with other stations in the province, such as in Corner Brook and Grand Falls-Windsor, which share similar music programming. These stations are owned by Stingray Group, a major Canadian media company. The K-Rock name has become synonymous with rock radio in the region.
