Mix

Mix was a branding used by several Canadian radio stations, typically for adult contemporary or hot adult contemporary formats. The "Mix" branding was popular in the 1990s and early 2000s but has since been phased out in many markets as stations rebranded or shifted formats. Notable former "Mix" stations include Mix 96 in Montreal (CJFM-FM) and Mix 99.9 in Toronto (CKFM-FM), which have since adopted new names and formats. The branding was often associated with a mix of contemporary pop, rock, and lighter hits aimed at a broad adult audience.
