X Rádió was a Hungarian radio station launched in 2001, primarily targeting a youthful audience with an alternative music format. It operated in Budapest and surrounding areas, offering a mix of indie, rock, and electronic music, as well as cultural and lifestyle programming. The station gained a loyal following due to its unique content compared to mainstream radio in Hungary. X Rádió ceased operations in 2008, largely due to financial difficulties. Its closure marked the end of one of Hungary's prominent alternative radio platforms.
