WVUM 90.5 FM

WVUM 90.5 FM is a non-commercial, student-run radio station based at the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Known as "The Voice of the University of Miami," the station primarily broadcasts alternative and eclectic music, alongside talk shows and coverage of university sports. It first began broadcasting in 1967 and has since become a platform for students to gain experience in broadcasting and media. WVUM has received national recognition, including being named the "Best College Radio Station" by MTVu in 2011. The station operates 24/7 and streams online in addition to its FM broadcast.
